Janie Snyder, M. Ed, EdD.

I was born and raised in Houston, but have been coming to the lake since I was a kid! My family moved to Livingston during the summer of 2006. 

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Sam Houston State University, a Master’s Degree in Education, Administration and Supervision from University of Houston-Victoria, and I earned a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University.

I was a classroom teacher for 19 years before becoming a campus administrator. I have served as Assistant Principal at Livingston Intermediate School, Principal at an Elementary Campus in Cleveland ISD, and am in my third year as Associate Principal at LJH!

Being an educator is an honor and a privilege, and it is a blessing to serve our students, faculty and staff, and our community here in LISD!
