I graduated Diboll High School in 1996 and Stephen F. Austin State University in 2003 with my Bachelors of Science.

Certification Areas: PK-4 Generalist, 4- 8 Generalist, K-12 Special Education, K-12 Health and K-12 Physical Education.

Professional Development:

I am currently enrolled in the Principal’s Certification program at Lamar University.  I will be a certified Principal in May 2018.

Current Position:

This is my 2nd year to teach at Livingston Junior High.  I am currently teaching ELA and Math to 6th, 7th and 8th grade.

 

Previous Position:

Before coming to LJH I was the Head Baseball Coach at Zavalla ISD for 2 years.  Prior to that I was the Head Baseball Coach at Kennard ISD for three years.  I have also coached at Alto High School, Yoe High School in Cameron and Anahuac Junior high.  This will be my 14th year in education.

Family Information:

I am married to Kim Cobb, teacher at Cedar Grove Elementary, and we have two boys.  Ty is the oldest and is a 7th grader at Livingston Junior High and Easton is a 4th grader at Livingston Intermediate.  We do not have any pets.

Personal Information:

When I am not teaching I enjoying watching football on TV and playing golf.  I am usually too busy to participate in my hobbies because I am usually at a baseball game, football game, baseball practice or football practice.
