Current Position:

This is currently my second year at Livingston ISD and I started working at Livingston Junior High in August 2016.  This  is also, my second year to teach Special Education Resource English Language Arts/Reading ,in grades 6th through 8th.

Previous Position:

My name is Cortney Clark and this is my fifteenth year as a teacher. I taught in Dallas ISD for my first three years of teaching in special education and 1st grade. I have also taught nine years in Shepherd ISD in the areas of special education, kindergarten and 1st grade. I taught last year in Cleveland ISD for one year in a Special Education Life Skills classroom. This is my second year at Livingston ISD and I am very excited about continuing to be a Special Education Resource English Language Arts/Reading teacher, as I was last year.   Working in Livingston ISD has given me an awesome and amazing experience; we are truly united as a working family and help one another when we are needed!

Family Information:

I have been married to Daniel Clark for fourteen years and he is from Shepherd,Texas. We met in the year 2000, at the University of Texas at Dallas and got married on June  28th, 2003 in Duncanville,Texas.  We have four children together: Caitlin Elizabeth who is 13 , in the 8th grade at Livingston Junior High, and she is a member of the Junior Belles Dance Team; Elijah Daniel who is 11 , in the 6th grade at Liivingston Junior High, and he is member of the Junior High Band playing trombone; Josylin Rachel who is 8 , in the 3rd grade at Shepherd Intermediate School, she is in Gifted and Talented, and an amazing artisit; Brooklin Michelle who is 6, in the 1st grade at Shepherdi Primary School, and she continues to amaze me everyday with her budding intelligence.   

Personal Information:

My favorite hobbies are: crafting,sewing,organizing everything,decorating for holidays or events,dance,tennis, swimming and recently camping has become an excited and fun hobby for my whole family.  

When I am not teaching, I like to do crafts from pinterest, crochet scarves, go shopping, make jewelry, make wreaths, cook fun and delicious meals for my family,and organize my house.  I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
